The

opportunity

KBR is involved with the delivery of a range of important projects.

Concurrently we pursue new opportunities that will bring great benefits to

Sydney, New South Wales and the broader Australian economy. In support of our

growth strategy, our Project Management team in Sydney is seeking the services

of an

experienced engineer with infrastructure project management and

delivery experience

to share our journey.

What

you will be involved with

Our consulting

engagement options include (but are not limited to) owners engineer, design and

construct, joint venture and client representative. These infrastructure

projects typically

have capital expenditure above $500M and project management

fees in excess of $3.5M.

Primary

responsibilities for this role incorporate; Management of the Multidisciplinary Team for the project delivery,

Interface between the Client and Design Team to manage scope and delivery.

Interface with Construction team to ensure information was available for

procurement and designs were constructible, Management of sub consultants and

other stakeholders to ensure proper interface and delivery, Project Management

of Schedules and Budgets as well as Commercial Management, contract negotiation

and implementation.

Prerequisites

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering

(CEng highly desirable)

Significant experience working in a similar role

within a large engineering and/or construction organisation

A solid track record in successfully delivering and

returning profitability of projects, managing client relationships, identifying opportunity for future work

A strong

understanding of commercial contracts and arrangements as they apply to large

projects in Australia including Alliances, Design and Construct or Joint

Ventures

Demonstrated high

level negotiation skills

Established

networks within the engineering and/or construction industry

Ability to advise

and mentor project staff

Strong leadership,

verbal and written communication skills

Sound client

facing skills with the ability to maintain and develop commercial client

relationships
