Job Description: Installs, maintains and troubleshoots Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, Virtual Networks, and data communications equipment. The Systems Administrator/Technical Auditor - Senior also analyzes and fixes network-related problems reported by users; this position will have the additional responsibilities of financial auditability, system compliance, and cyber-security/Information Assurance for contract performance.

? Monitors and controls the performance of the communication network
? Facilitates routine tests and analyses of the network, including critical equipment, and related hardware/software items
? Investigates performance problems of the network
? Diagnose problems related to internal circuitry
? Work with location managers on site to determine feasibility and costs associated with equipment replacement
? Install and upgrade the systems with virus protection software, spyware, firewall protection software, etc.
? Financial auditability and system compliance with following: Government Auditing Standards (the "Yellow Book"), Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) Financial Management Systems Requirements Manual (the "Blue Book"), DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Plan, Department of Army Financial Improvement Plan, Applicable federal accounting standards published by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board, Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, Business Enterprise Architecture, DoD Standard Financial Information Structure, Army Portfolio Management Solution, Federal Financial Management Improvement Act, Real Property Information Model, DoDAF, Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual, RMF for DoD IT
? Support for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and cybersecurity requirements to include analysis, impact, implementation, testing, and documentation

Key Qualifications: A bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field is required; Minimum of five (5) years of professional IT support experience with three (3) years dedicated to managing and maintaining a computing network; Experience configuring, data center/enterprise routers/switches, LAN/WAN networks, voice gateways, and phones systems; Must be familiar with DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) pertaining to Network Security; Familiarity with financial auditability and system compliance within DOD setting; Certified Network Professional (CNP) is desired; Requires IAT Level I certification
