This is a Systems Engineering Lead position for the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) IPT on a complex Electro-Optical (EO) Program. The Systems Engineering Lead is responsible for driving execution by providing direction to the team while considering technical, cost, and schedule priorities of the program. Responsibilities of the team include requirements development and maintenance, interfacing with the Electronics and Mechanical teams, ensuring subassembly requirements verification plans are in place and executable, technical review of subassembly test plans, technical review of subassembly requirements verification artifacts, interfacing with the System Analysis and System Verification team. As the lead, you will oversee a team of Responsible Systems Engineers (RSEs) to carry out responsibilities and provide mentorship and leadership to your team.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience
  • Experience with requirements flow down, maintenance and management of requirements through the use of DOORS requirement database management tool
  • Experience with requirements verification and sell-off
  • Prior leadership experience
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to access to US only data systems as separate requirements within the basic qualifications/required skills list
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • Required active SSBI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), or Master's Degree/PhD in relevant field with 8 years of engineering experience
