The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, test, validation & verifications of system requirements, and customer acceptance of new Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used to support Trident II Missile Checkout. The responsibilities include research and evaluation of commercial off-the-shelf electrical & electronics hardware as well as design & fabricate unique/custom designed circuitry, subassemblies, and assemblies if COTS is not available.

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role.
*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering prefer a degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Process oriented Design Engineer, with electrical and/or electronics equipment design experience.

Experience working with requirements and drawings

Candidate should possess problem solving, project planning, exemplary interpersonal communication skills.
