In this position, the subcontract administrator will support Non-Production & Production Support Equipment for F-35 Majors and Sustainment. The candidate will be responsible for supplier source selection, purchase order placement and administration in support of F-35 Program. Duties include negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and international supplier management. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidder conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Confers with vendors and analyzes vendors' operation to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. Engages with internal customer to develop procurement solutions. May require infrequent travel
-Bachelors degree required
-Microsoft Office Excel & PowerPoint experience
-Experience in subcontract management or supply chain and negotiation skills
-Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Logistics Coursework or experience.
