This role provides supply chain program management and integration to the F16/F22/F2/T50 aircraft/support platforms and customers encompassing all supply chain related activity inclusive of majors, non-majors, services, etc. and spanning all life cycles of development, production and sustainment, and program phases, capture, execution and contract closeout. The SPM will serve as the primary responsible program manager for subcontracted work scope that will interface directly with the Program Managers for all supply chain and subcontracting efforts enabling the Subcontract Management Team (SMT)s to successfully manage all the subcontracted efforts. This position is expected to maintain strong relationships with the procurement teams, program leadership, and cross-functional team leadership. This role will develop supply chain and supplier strategies to achieve program requirements. This role must effectively manage supplier and subcontract financials, program material earned value, critical path, and risk mitigation to achieve program execution. It is expected this individual will establish and maintain mechanisms and leading indicators for supplier and overall supply chain management program health and ensure early problem identification and timely resolution of issues to meet program goals and commitments. To be successful in this role the individual must demonstrate expertise across a range of program management, process improvement, project management, and leadership skills. The role will require knowledge of activities across the Aero Enterprise functions.
Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that may require special access.
- Experience with government policy or government procedure and regulations or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience with Subcontract Management or procurement or Supply Chain Management or Program Management or Project Management
-Experience with IFG Platform (F-16, F-22, F-2)
-Experience in all life cycles (Production, Sustainment, Development)
-Earned Value Management (EVM)
-Program Management Skills
-Strong understanding of Systems, Applications and Processes
-Strong verbal and presentation skills and ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization
