Seeking an Engineering Aide to Support the Apache Test Engineering in fabrication area or processing laboratory with cable/wire harness manufacturing, soldering through hole and surface mount components, and should be skilled at troubleshooting failed/damaged wire harnesses/cables and capable of performing experiments and tests. This individual evaluates new processes, products, and/or isolates process problems, may design simple experiments, implements, collects results, maintains appropriate logs, and provides oral and/or written reports of results. This individual monitors process controls, materials, and supplies, and may be required to ensure correct functioning and identify any discrepancies. This individual may monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures, and may advise operators and inform engineers regarding processes, procedures, and equipment.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must demonstrate experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting. Intermediate knowledge of applicable software (typically National Instruments suite, CVI, and C+). The ability to work independently with guidance as necessary. Familiarity with documentation standards like DOD-STD-1000, and ANSI Y14.5M-1994 as well as an understanding of Electrical Schematics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. .

Desired skills
Candidate will have familiarity with electronic and electro-mechanical systems, and work in a fast paced, high output environment doing troubleshooting and repair/incorporating changes.
