Job Description:
Raytheon is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with an active TS clearance to work as part of a collaborative team to support classified networks in our Texas locations around Dallas. There will be minimal travel to Forest Mississippi when needed.

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong background with LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware.
  • Experience with Type-1 HAIPE Encryptors, VPN technologies and protocols IPSec, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN, etc.
  • In-depth experience implementing IDS/IPS, host-based security and integrating firewall appliances, including DMZ design and ACL implementation
  • In-depth experience with Cisco network design, implementation and documentation, including Cisco Nexus hardware, Nexus NX-OS operating system
  • Experience with Visio, SNMP-based network management
  • Independent decision making capabilities and ability to work well independently and in a team environment to provide maximum support to multiple programs
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • CCNA Certification
  • Must possess an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status
  • Security+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Brocade switches and routers
  • Familiar with Cisco CUCM, Call Manager Express
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Government (RMF) Risk Management Framework
  • Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, DNS, Storage, Cloud-based environment, VMware product suite, SolarWinds
  • CCNP certification preferred

Education Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 6 years of relevant experience

or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline, a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
