Under moderate supervision and using strategic input, design and produce complex computer-aided artwork for printed or digital marketing materials to promote the Company and assist the Company in meeting its objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Create professional-level designs and layouts for marketing communications such as advertising, catalogs, brochures, fliers, mailers, packaging, labels, instructions for use, tradeshow signage, emails, website imagery and other printed or electronic materials as required, using specialized knowledge of methods and techniques of Graphic design and layout. Develop and execute new concepts, and revise or execute existing concepts.

Develop and execute branding for product lines, maintaining consistent branding among all components for each brand, including logo(s), packaging and all marketing materials.

Manage projects from initial concept to finished printed or digital piece.

Act as contact person for in-house and outside vendors with questions pertaining to art.

Ensure quality control of printed and digital marketing materials.

Collect data and coordinate activities with various department personnel, management levels, and outside service bureaus as requested or necessary.

Provide in-house design service for all departments requesting sales and marketing materials and any other required graphics assistance.

Coordinate with vendors and service bureaus such as photographers and printers to ensure timely completion of projects.

Check on-line pdf proofs, printer pre-press proofs and ?bluelines? for accuracy and quality. Attend press checks as needed.

Work with Quality Assurance incoming inspections to ensure the consistent quality of all marketing materials.


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associates degree preferred.

The candidate must be proficient in the following:

- Use of specialized computer software to develop high quality computer illustrations, technical drawings, and animations supporting various media used within the training curriculum.
- Capable of using specialized hardware and/or software for video/audio capture and editing of multimedia presentations, incorporates principles of layout design throughout the courseware production process, and is responsible for quality control, review and revision of all aspects of graphics development.
- Position requires good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a busy environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate, especially verbally.

Clearance Requirement:

Individual must currently have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
