JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform as an individual contributor to design, develop, and implement marketing technology and applications to support business needs.
  • Maintain production and QA servers that are responsible for timely execution of marketing and promotional initiatives and system upgrades to ensure compliance.
  • Integrate pricing platform and Digital Asset Management platform utilizing LAGO for use with promotional planning and creative production tools.
  • Design and implement middleware solutions between pricing and print production custom applications for continuous updates.
  • Design and develop the UI framework for custom web applications using SmartClient with HTML and Javascript customization.
  • Develop scripts to provide automation that enhance efficiency, creativity, and effectiveness of applications for pricing systems.
  • Review code and suggest enhancements to Java/J2EE code for applications for a more robust application build.
  • Review SQL statements and provide optimization criteria to enhance the experience between systems that use DB2 as the backend.
  • Create and maintain XSD data structure with multiple client applications within the scope of development to provide a robust and effective integrated data transaction solution.
  • Establish API end points for web applications like LAGO and strategize on effective usage across the organization.
  • Design batch jobs to deliver nightly automated feeds for online channels.
  • Automate in-design server set up and maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Coordinate product releases with marketing and development teams to ensure business requirements are translated correctly.
  • Escalate and handle issues related to database and application servers, including deploying hot-fixes, new builds, and installation of plugins.
  • Manage client and vendor relationships as it pertains to updating release notes on software products, upgrades, bug fixes and product enhancements.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, protocol analysis, and viewpoints.
  • Interface with customers and interpret business needs to define technical architectural solutions and requirements.
  • Create and execute user acceptance test scripts for marketing applications.
