Job Description:

The successful candidate will be supporting the Advanced Technology business area, with a primary focus on the Next Generation Sensors portfolio. The AT business area is focused on developing a robust pipeline of technology discriminators to enable the successful transition of new or enhanced technologies into the other Raytheon integrated businesses.

This position will be filled at a G09 level and will be located in Tewksbury, MA. The individual must be able to operate in a strong team environment, problem solve, analyze and support programs with various entities. The individual should have experience with and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, working simultaneously with several program teams, be able to make sound decisions based on facts and data, and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities will include: participation in front-end assessments of business pursuits, helping to shape opportunities, analysis of RFPs, proposal preparation, developing and implementing negotiation strategies, general contract administration, offering solutions to mitigate contractual/program risks, understanding how terms and conditions affect price and schedules, acting as the focal point of contact with the customer for all contractual matters, complying with ITAR, and participating in various proposal and business reviews.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in contract administration, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations
  • Review RFPs, proposals and contractual documents for contractual requirements and risks, ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and meet company policies and standards
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and/or equivalent government regulations
  • Lead proposal and contract negotiations to achieve business objectives while ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation and start up phases of programs

Required Education (including Major):
  • BS/BA in Business, Management, Finance, or related field
