The ALCS Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the operational field support of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS).
This role requires minimal supervision and is an individual that will oversee the processing of maintenance and supply data utilizing ALCS associated with the operation of fielded radar facilities.
Travel to domestic and international site facilities to cover for onsite logisticians as needed.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, gathering user and business requirements, for updates to applications and processes.
Maintain accurate data related to maintenance events, equipment configuration, and supply.
Provide assistance in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.
Provide analysis of technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements.
4+ years of providing logistics and system maintenance support of technical hardware and software, and/or military related experience.
Working knowledge with an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.
Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.
Coordinate and interface effectively at all, levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government workforce.
Research complex customer problems and provide technical, process and/or training solutions, including networking, database management and software requirements.
Isolate problems and initiate solutions in a timely manner is expected.
Generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer is also required.
Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.
Candidate must possess sufficient professional competence to operate independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision.
Domestic and international on-site support as needed.
Candidate should already have or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks, physical to be deployed overseas and drug screens.
Experience working within company and/or government owned contractor operated logistics facilities a plus.
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree in information systems management, engineering or related technical field of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience, providing logistics and system maintenance support of technical hardware and software, and/or military related activities.
