This is a proposal position (contingent upon contract award) located at Kirtland AFB - Base Operations Support (BOS).
The Portfolio Optimization Manager (POM) oversees and is responsible for the quality, timeliness, and completeness of all Activity Management Plan (AMP) processes, community planning functions, programming, energy management, real property functions, space optimization functions, and the supervision of work and conduct of the portfolio optimization personnel.
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)
Completes installation comprehensive community planning services.
Completes installation planning and programming services as defined in Programming Appropriated Fund Maintenance, Repair, and Construction Projects.
Completes installation energy management services.
Responsible for the Activity Management Plan & Sub-AMP Analyst Services.
Education & Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering architecture, construction management, planning or facility management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), from program certified by National Architecture Accrediting Board, or from a program accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the engineering section of the civil engineer function at major US military installation (Air Force Experience preferred).
Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a supervisory position.
Must have knowledge of familiarity with the Air Force Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
Security Clearance: Security Clearance is required for this position.
