Candidates with bachelors or master?s degrees in electrical, aeronautical, systems, mechanical engineering or computer science should explore the opportunities available in the Owego Systems engineering organization. The entry level positions available will support government fixed or rotary wing aircraft contracts and programs as well as distribution technologies programs. Specific opportunities exist in the following areas: systems architecture development, systems design and analysis, system requirements definition and decomposition, system integration & test, electronic warfare architecture & system development, aircraft communication systems, networking and computing, aircraft navigation, sensors & weapons and mission planning, aircraft installation design (electrical and mechanical) and lab design.

System engineering tasks may include: technical trade studies, requirements allocation and equipment interface definitions, system design, translation of customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, documentation review and update, equipment and software integration, lab regression testing, flight test support, analysis & documentation of problem trouble reports, written and verbal status of testing progress to the concurrent engineering team. Electrically focused candidates may develop, design and test of electrical and electromechanical components and assemblies for integration on rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft, design of system level schematics, cable assembly drawings and cable interconnect diagrams. Mechanically focused candidates may work with the Installation or Lab Design teams to research, develop, design and test the installation of various Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and military grade components and systems in racks, console, or pallet style configurations meant for integration labs, military aircraft, vehicles and/or products. The candidate will be responsible for generating 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly bills of material (BOMs), and processing engineering releases through change management systems.

All candidates will work in a team environment and must be able to effectively communicate and interface with others including Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management and Suppliers.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mathematics or related discipline from an accredited college. Entry level.

Minimum 3.0 GPA Requirement
Interim Secret Clearance required

Familiarity of Performance Analyst Tools such as MATLAB
Familiarity with Advanced RADAR Signal Processing Techniques or Undersea Systems Design
MAT LAB
Ability to work on special projects

Basic Qualifications
