The Test Systems Solutions Center (TSSC) is the multi-disciplined organization within the RMS Engineering Systems Test Directorate that is responsible for the design, build, delivery and maintenance of complex custom automated test environments used to support Raytheon products over their complete lifecycle including engineering development, production, field and depot support.
The Test Systems Solutions Center has a need for an Engineering Department Manager (DM) to lead the AMDS Tier 2 Test Systems Department, an organization of approximately 92 engineers. The AMDS Tier 2 Test Systems Department is responsible for the strategic development of affordable state of the art test environments. The Department Manager will be the point-of-contact for all related test systems solutions for the AMDS Tier 2 programs such as RKV, SM-3, EKV and strategic pursuits. Also, the Department Manager is the functional interface to RMS Operations’ Strategic Make Centers where the product line’s test environments are deployed. The Department Manager will be responsible for the results and effectiveness of this department across these AMDS Tier 2 programs.The department is comprised of seven engineering sections that include Electrical, Software, Mechanical/Optical and Configurable Logic engineers as well as IPT/Team Leads. The Department Manager involvement includes workforce growth, performance development process, proposal support, production test systems development, test systems deployment/prove-in, reliability growth planning and test systems sustaining/support. The Department Manager will collaborate across multiple disciplines and organizations within RMS in order to enable the optimum Test Strategy for the supported programs, including leading the major reviews of the department’s test environments.

Required Education (including Major):
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent. M.S. desirable.
Must have an existing (current) Secret DoD Clearance and must be able to obtain access to proprietary programs
