This position is in support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Managed Security Service (MSS) Program which will form a strategic relationship with an in Kingdom partner. The customer’s objective is to provide a suite of cybersecurity services to government and critical national infrastructure customers in KSA. The program supports Raytheon’s strategic goal of Global Growth by increasing our international Cyber business and driving business and customer success. Raytheon will provide the technology, knowledge transfer, and support to assist the customer in delivering a catalog of services. In its first phase the program will establish Threat Monitoring, Detection, Analysis and Response and Security Assessment and Incident Response services and provide the customer with one year of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support. Given Raytheon’s cybersecurity experience, including establishing Security Operation Centers (SOCs) and MSSs in the United States, Middle East, and United Kingdom, Raytheon is well positioned to partner with the customer and deliver the cyber expertise, processes and technology necessary for success.
Raytheon is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead a team supporting the identification, requisition, setup, configuration, testing of security infrastructure required for the KSA MSS Program. KSA MSS Program infrastructure includes the MSS technology platform; SOC monitoring, Integration & Testing, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and Malware labs; and mobile Flyaway Kits. The Security Architect will also architect the program’s infrastructure, labs, firewalls, software products and VPN and other communications connections.

Job Duties include and are not limited to:
  • Creates, adapts, and follows project schedules and budgets
  • Leads the distributed program Security Engineering team
  • Identification, requisition, setup, configuration, testing of security infrastructure required for the KSA MSS Program
  • Establish and maintain the program’s infrastructure, labs, firewalls, software products and VPN and other communications connections
  • Reviews and recommends solutions to customer problems based on prior experience and hands-on understanding of how products and services interrelate and support the customer mission
  • Troubleshooting connectivity issues between the U.S./U.K. environments and customer networks or other ancillary connection such as analyst VPN sessions
  • Troubleshooting operational issues with the VMware infrastructure and firewalls
  • Works well within the team and with the customer to identify solutions to requirements
  • Remains up-to-date on technological and product developments
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cyber, Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of technical working experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in Information Security Engineering
  • Deep technical background in IT and security products, understanding of infrastructure development from scratch, and ability to communicate ideas in an effective manner as it ties into existing infrastructure
  • Experience with one or more of the following cyber policy development, continuity of operations, disaster recovery, database frameworks, enterprise resource planning, HyperText Markup Language (HTML), HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Web portals
  • Experience with VMware Horizon View and firewalls
  • Linux expertise
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Planning and Organization
  • Leadership
