The Network Lead will be responsible for providing technical support of firewalls, routers, switches, network security and network related remediation. This individual will lead a small global team of network administrator to support the networking function. This position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is based in the Las Vegas Corporate office.

Job Description: 

  • Responsible for the analysis, installation, configuration, implementation, modification, and support of networking hardware and its monitoring systems.
  • Manage, maintain and update a support issue ticketing system to track all items to resolution and to identify support trends.
  • Manage and mentor a small global team of network administrators to support all networking functions.
  • Fulfill service level agreements, with respect to availability, performance, capacity and security.
  • Adhere to and champion the ITIL based principles established for problem, change and asset management.
  • Effectively utilize the System Management tools available to support the principles.
  • Provide problem diagnosis, management, escalation, tracking, resolution and remediation.
  • Manage networking vendor relationships, network procurement, and delivery of networking services.
  • Work closely with various business units to ensure infrastructure is meeting functional requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating networking documentation and visual diagrams.
  • Perform daily system monitoring for all network infrastructure systems.
  • Report and/or escalate issues to management, offering remediation recommendations.
  • Training of users for operations in network hardware, monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Provide support with restorations upon request while maintaining security and data integrity.
  • On-call rotation as all environments are expected to operate 24x7x365.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in related discipline and minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Cisco iOS, Cisco hardware and Cisco software applications
  • 5 or more years of Supervisory or Senior experience
  • Cisco iOS configuration experience in production environments and deployments
  • Strong understanding of Internet circuits, routing technologies, QOS, etc.
  • Ability to present solutions to diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of network and information security
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.
  • Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with Meraki systems
  • Experience with Service NOW
  • Experience with VPN technology and deployments
  • Experience with AWS environment
  • Experience with Orion monitoring tools
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to emerging technologies
  • ITIL experience preferred
  • CCNA, CCIE certification a PLUS
