Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Logistics/Transportation Specialist, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. The Logistics/Transportation Specialist will perform all functions of the NRO Deployment Coordination Center (NDCC) in support of NRO personnel (government civilian, military, and contractor) travel for official government business (Harm’s Way, Non-Harm’s Way, OCONUS & CONUS).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide coordination with in-country representatives of expected travel; attain country clearances and assist travelers with fulfilling screening requirements, receiving travel advisories and receiving appropriate security briefings. Facilitate compliance with other regulations and ensure deployment readiness.
• Act as the NRO’s resource for all official foreign travel deployments. Responsible for day-to-day coordination and administration of multiple tasks; ensure quality standards are maintained while satisfying timeline requirements. Support other duties as assigned.
• Position requires ability to manage multiple tasks and competing timelines while tactfully interfacing with customers and team members. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, patient, organized and resourceful. Candidate will adapt well to change, utilize innovative solutions, apply sound judgment and remain poised under pressure.
