Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community
Raytheon has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Security Engineer II supporting an Intelligence Community customer’s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. The Security Engineer designs, tests and implements state-of-the-art secure network architectures. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies. Develop, maintain and implement information assurance policies, procedures, certification and accreditation in accordance with applicable DoD regulations, CERT notices and best business practices. Ensures compliance with QA standards. Ensure specific performance indicators are met or exceeded.
•Bachelors Degree with 4+ years relevant experience designing, testing and implementing state-of-the-art secure network architectures.
•ITIL v3 Foundations
Required Education (including Major):
•Bachelors Degree in a related field; experience in lieu of a degree
