The Responsive Space Systems Department seeks Principal Systems Engineers to lead the design, development, and build of DoD/Civil Electro-Optical (EO) Space Systems. The systems engineer will be responsible for assessing systems architectures, developing requirements for these systems, and supporting the design and build efforts. The role involves being able to model and assess EO design characteristics and analyze impacts to performance parameters such as MTF, radiometric performance, line-of-sight, IFOV, etc. The role also involves understanding verification and test activities to lead the systems engineering team in creating a proper IV&V plan that meets the requirements of the program. The role also includes some involvement in pre-proposal and proposal activities.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, Science or related STEM degree
Desired Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
