The candidate may support one of the following Program Quality areas: Advanced Missile Systems, Air and Missile Defense Systems, Air Warfare Systems, Land Warfare Systems, or Naval and Area Mission Defense.
The Senior Program Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering support and expertise to select programs at Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements. The candidate must provide education and knowledge on the use of quality tools in the administration of the Quality System, and apply quality engineering skills to develop and deploy effective methods for verifying and accepting processes and products. The Senior Program Quality Engineer will use analytical tools and methods to: improve product design; minimize inspection; solve fabrication problems; complete such specialized quality functions as data preparation, analyses and reporting; develop techniques and methods; support process improvements; complete special investigations and audits; take preventative and corrective actions; support design reviews and audits to ensure that quality is engineered into the product; and develop product acceptance techniques and plans.
A successful Senior Quality Engineer will have the ability to provide the aforementioned in a very fast paced engineering development environment. The programs are often Quick Reaction with minimal established requirements initially. This requires the Senior Quality Engineer to have experience and discretion to give appropriate direction on a wide variety of product and program issues.
NOTE: This position can be a Salary Grade G08 (Sr Quality Assurance Eng I) or Salary Grade G09 (Sr Quality Assurance Eng II) based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics

The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
