The Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) Strategy & Business Development leader will be responsible for business strategy, customer development, and business capture for RVS pursuits. This position is key to RVS achieving bookings targets and positioning RVS for future growth.

The position is responsible for leading a team responsible for the planning and growth capture for the RVS product lines. This position is responsible for the formulation of the RVS 5 year strategy, regular updates to the 5 year bookings plan, the allocation and management of bidding and selling budgets, and the oversight of gates -1 through 3 in the Raytheon IPDS system. This position also works closely with the ISRS S&BD Lead, SAS S&BD VP and staff in coordinating activities and process to the standards and objectives of the SAS organization, including: capture processes, NBI budgets, marketing planning, bookings forecasting, and strategy formulation and alignment.

The RVS BD is also responsible for developing business opportunities that result in year over year bookings/sales growth commensurate with the dynamic RVS market. This role is further responsible for identifying, qualifying and developing capture strategies in support of RVS solutions and programs. This role is responsible for aggressively pursuing new business opportunities; developing relationships across the industry including customers, decision makers, subcontractors and teammates with a goal of maximizing customer satisfaction and business growth objectives. Finally, the RVS BD Lead must engage and work across the RTN enterprise to develop and support new business development efforts that require integrated RTN solution sets.

Required Skills and Experiences:

    • 14 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in business development
    • A working knowledge of the EO/IR market space, players, and technologies.
    • Experience in marketing EO/IR solutions with both government and industrial customers.
    • Experience in formulating and executing strategies for a technology value proposition company.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills and Experiences:

    • Familiarity with Raytheon businesses, policies, and practices.
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Education:

Bachelor?s degree in Business Management or Engineering or other related field

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
