Job Description:

This position will serve as a member of the Shared Services Center (SSC) Benefits team. This role primarily facilitates the resolution of benefit inquires, providing subject matter expertise utilizing multiple databases and vendor portals; resolves escalated customer service delivery issues; recommends and implements solutions to meet service level agreements. Position is in an open working environment with deadline driven issues requiring research and analysis. Overtime may be required at cycles throughout the year.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Respond to detailed employee inquiries requiring knowledge about benefit programs, plans and services

Explain updates and changes to benefit programs to employees

-
Identify potential benefit issues and their root cause to avoid recurrence

-
Coordinate with appropriate Points Of Contacts (POCs) for the completion of processes

-
Identify, recommend and implement work processes centered on customer service and continual process improvement that will yield increased quality or consistency while reducing cycle time

-
Monitor, maintain, and report quality assurance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction performance metrics

-
Comply with federal/state regulations and Enterprise policies and procedures as well as internal SSC policies and procedures

Support audit and compliance activities

Adherence to service level agreements

Support data collection for metrics

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School and two (2) years or more of related experience.

Required Education / Experience:

-
High school education or equivalent and 2 years of business related experience

-
Analytical ability with track record of troubleshooting and problem solving in related subject matter within systems and/or data

-
Self-starter that excels in a team oriented environment

-
Multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

-
Understanding of service center technology preferred

-
Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings which require skill, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation

-
Minimum of intermediate experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

-
Prior experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft or other HCM software preferred.
