Position Summary:  With a passion for people and product, effectively lead Supply Chain team in order to enable the dynamic R&D development trial program to be met at required performance levels and optimal cost.  
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver Results:
  • Lead supply chain activities to support development team trials
  • Plan, organize and lead a small team to achieve objectives
  • Implement appropriate KPI?s and feedback mechanisms to ensure that the team is providing the appropriate service level to the site.
  • Deliver high service level at optimized cost through material management processes including sourcing, ordering, receiving and stock maintenance.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are within company guidelines (Safety, GMP, record accuracy, traceability, etc.)
    People Leadership:
  • Lead, coach and develop supply chain team members
  • Motivate team and create a climate of mutual trust
  • Monitor and manage resource allocation within the team for core activities and project work to ensure both efficient execution and staff development in line with PDGs.
  • Develop Nestle Continuous Excellence behaviors within the team including root cause analysis
  • Analyze the supply chain operation and drive improvements in the areas of Safety, Quality, Customer Service and Cost
  • Benchmark internally and externally to identify improvement opportunities
  • Determine optimal stock levels to meet trial schedules while minimizing expired materials.
    Other responsibilities:
  • Act as Lead Business Manager for SAP/NesTMS material and trial management system
  • Identify and drive process improvement/productivity projects.  Lead improvement projects by applying continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Comply with Nestlé Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures.
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
  • BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business
  • 5-7 years Supply Chain/Logistics experience or other relevant transferrable experience
  • Must understand supply chain process end-to-end
