Job Description Summary
Resource will manage the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment program for the Space Planning and management team. The client has a very specific workplace model and furniture program which the FF&E program manager will oversee for North America.
Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
Owns FF&E program implementation for client in the Americas
Ensures the client?s workplace model is followed correctly
Escalation point for the team for all FF&E questions and exception requests
SPOC for all workplace model related discussions w/ the Americas workplace design lead and sourcing team
Manages the FF&E planning related scope for small projects
Works with Architect and Project Managers to obtain furniture plans and furniture lists for large projects and reviews them for compliance with the workplace model
Leads the FF&E procurement scope for projects and manages the FF&E program coordinator in procurement tasks
Responsible for delivering the on-going workplace model training for the Occupancy Planning team
Responsible for development of FF&E processes and forms; Creates and maintains an FF&E playbook
Oversee maintenance of FF&E spec sheets and libraries
Works with client workplace design model leader for the Americas
Oversee inventory of FF&E inventory; will create FF&E disposition programs to maximize reuse, donation, recycling and avoidance of disposal and waste (i.e use of landfills)
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of furniture system and the furniture procurement process.
Four years college degree required, plus seven-ten years of experience, out of which 3 years at the managerial level
Hands-on experience with design and project planning required
Capable of organizing and executing multiple projects
Project Management experience preferred
Superior oral and written communication skills required.
Software competency: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and Visio.
Strong technical capability and aptitude to learn new software and data and asset management programs
Client and customer service focused with strong organizational, technology and communication skills.
