Program Cost Schedule & Control (G7) or Sr Prog Cost Schedule & Control (G8)

The Japan Programs, Integrated Air & Missile Defense, finance organization is pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and fast paced team. The Japan programs within the Integrated Air & Missile Defense business are comprised of International DCS programs based on a 30+ year history of co-production / co-development with our Japanese customer. This position supports a number of high-visibility programs with significant growth potential, and is a great opportunity to develop multi-disciplined financial experience.

This position will be responsible for and experience:

  • Monthly contract baseline maintenance and internal EVMS reporting
  • Leading quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) development
  • Providing financial guidance and communication to CAMs, IPT leads, the Patriot Product Line Execution Team and the Program Office in support of monthly and quarterly financial deliverables
  • Presentations and engagement with leaders at many levels
  • Preparing Management for monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required
  • Supporting the FP&A function through monthly updates to detailed element of cost planning and manpower forecasting
  • Supporting the AOP and 5 Year Planning Strategic Processes
  • Ad/hoc analysis in support of strategic business initiatives

This position can be a G07 or a G08 based on the candidate?s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.


Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly with modeling and data manipulation in Excel
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and APEX or related applications

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in a Program Controls role with Estimates at Completion (EAC's) and program costs & schedule tracking
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Experience in a software development environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate complex information concisely to a cross functional team
  • Independent, self-motivated, and highly organized
  • Innovative, strategic thinker
  • Demonstrated experience with tools such as Business Warehouse, PRISM, and Operations / Material dashboard. Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop applied solutions and process improvements

Required Education:
  • BS/BA in Business Management/Accounting, Finance or any related degree
