Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Linux Systems Administrator, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

The NIS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer’s success is driving our growth.

As a Linux System Administrator, you will join a team of administrators and infrastructure engineers supporting one of our key programs. In this role our ideal candidate can expect to evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, and perform problem isolation and resolution for an enterprise class data center.

The successful candidate will also involve maintaining a complex range of computer network components and systems while performing these functions across a wide range of network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, digital servers, and network management components.

This position is responsible for maintain our current Linux infrastructure on both physical and virtual servers and working with the rest of the infrastructure team to support all of the customer requirements. This position will include both tactical hands on work and strategic planning on ensuring that the infrastructure can scale to meet future needs.


Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
