The Strategic Price to Win (SPTW) Senior Manager has direct accountability for the development of the cost models and price to win targets on strategic and major pursuits at RMS. Considered an expert on pricing strategy, the SPTW Senior Manager will interact daily with the Director of Capture Management Excellence as well as with the Business Development Executives, Capture Managers, and capture team members. In this role, you will be responsible for performing analysis and developing PTW solutions on competitive contracts ranging in size from $500M to over $2B. The SPTW Senior Manager must have a demonstrated track record in achieving PTW accuracy as demonstrated by a high win rate. Ultimately, bid decisions may be made based on this individual's recommendation and analysis. The individual may have to defend their analysis and assumptions to the RMS Business President, CFO and other members of the leadership team.
· Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years prior work experience, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry
· Prior Price-to-Win and Competitive Intelligence experience working with capture/proposal teams for large pursuits of $550M+
· Experience with industry cost models (e.g. PRICE, SEER, etc.)
· Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
· Acumen of company business practices and Capture / Proposal process
· Pricing Experience
·Master’s degree in related discipline, MBA preferred
·Capture Management Experience in international and domestic competitive opportunities
·Exceptional oral and written communications skills
·Ability to work with capture team leads to understand key parameters of technical solutions
·Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills to assess complex scenarios
·Experience with International Capture/Proposal efforts
·Experience working Capture/Proposal efforts for or into leading aerospace/defense industry Prime Companies
·Ability to interpret and explain PTW analyses and results to Executive Management and stakeholders
·Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
