Job Description:
Modeling and documentation of mechanical and electrical COTS (commercial off the shelf) and MIL (Military Standard) parts for the Raytheon library. Work closely with engineering and accurately interpret data sheets and drawings used in the model creation as well as storing files in PDM (product data management system). Will be responsible for model quality and documentation meeting all applicable DOD and Industry standards.

Required Skills:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor?s Degree, or 12 years of professional experience with an Associate?s Degree , or 16+ years of experience with a HS DiplomaCREO Parametric (ProEngineer) modeling and drawing creation
  • PTC Windchill or other PDM (product data management, particularly for CAD files) tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with ASME 14.100 (Engineering Drawing Practices) and associated standards
  • US Citizenship is required, with ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.


Desired Skills:

  • Ability to interpret data sheets/drawings and work with programs to create models conforming to rigorous enterprise library model quality standards
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Familiarity with MIL-DTL-31000 (technical data packages) standards
  • Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace
  • Existing DoD Clearance
Required education:
  • At least 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor?s Degree, or 12 years of professional experience with an Associate?s Degree , or 16 years of experience with a HS Diploma

Desired education:
  • Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design related degree or better


U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
