Job Description
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Circuit Card Assembly Center of Excellence (CCA COE) features highly automated assembly and manufacturing. CCA?s focus is to develop and utilize advancements in assembly automation, miniaturization, automated test and process controls to create differentiation that will enable highly competitive solutions. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the CCA team.

The Sr. Manager of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) is a member of the IDS Circuit Card Assembly Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall cross functional leadership of the multi-disciplined CCA Team. This position is responsible for the coordination of manufacturing resources and strategy required to support ongoing operations. This also includes overall responsibility for cost, quality and schedule.

The Sr. Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the CCA Manufacturing process from schedule/planning through production, shipment and customer support. This candidate is expected to have a continuous commitment to process improvement and driving affordability. This role manages an organization of > 100 employees (Touch Labor and Support) across multiple functions including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Integrated Supply Chain. The role is also responsible for overall CCA Center of Excellence (COE) talent development and maintaining a safe work environment for all COE employees.

This role is responsible for multiple Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) programs with CCA designs incorporating high volume, emerging designs and production processes technologies. New product introductions for key franchise pursuits as well as CCAs with legacy product features are also a key responsibility of this role. Engagement with Programs and with customers to accelerate MRL/TRL in support of product development within the Value Stream is also to be expected.
This position is in a fast paced, customer/program driven environment and requires regular communications and interaction with senior leaders both internal to IDS, as well as external to SAS. This candidate will be a member of the IDS operations extended leadership team working cohesively with the other directorates within operations.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active/Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience leading large cross functional teams
  • Ability to travel 50% for first year between Andover, MA and McKinney, TX and 25% thereafter.
  • Bachelor?s Degree

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with CCA and or DOD
  • Understanding of SAP and other business systems
  • Exposure to Shop floor data systems
  • Experience with Six-Sigma and lean manufacturing process
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, communication and presentation skills, and team building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to present to senior leadership
  • Ability to execute against tight deadlines
  • A great team builder with the ability to communicate clear expectations and influence teams in across a wide section of departments
  • Bachelor?s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related field.
