Primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate the Combat Systems Logistics supportability; receipt, shipping and changes of installed equipment made and report any deficiencies as necessary. This position assists in ordering and tracking material and coordinates with various sources to ensure the material is provided to the ship and testing program as fast as possible.
Desired Skills: Able to process requisition orders. Maintain databases, using EXCEL and other programs to track, analyze and identify any material that has been cannibalized, missing, or late in delivery to avoid impact to testing schedule for the AEGIS Weapon System. Knowledge of WEDOC processes and procedures. Knowledge of SUPSHIP Pascagoula and HII Materials handling and material control procedures. Knowledge of and ability to utilize the BIW INCO programs. Handle disposition of Milstrip consumable or non-repairable failed assets. Maintain sea trial spares inventory and stock allowances. Perform non-routine and moderately complex work assignments.
Basic Qualifications: Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
