Description: Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Candidate will be responsible for basic aerodynamics and aircraft performance tasks, including support of design, test, marketing, and development programs. Tasks involve usage of rotor and aircraft performance models in the prediction of aircraft capabilities such as range, payload, and airspeed, and effective communication of capabilities to internal customers.
Basic Qualifications: Basic qualifications for this role include pursuing a Bachelor's level degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an aero focus. Entry level. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
