Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS)has an opening in Sr. Facilities Operations Specialist with an electrical background. The operations specialist will manage electrical installation and repair activities, respond to trouble calls and customer requests, and coordinate daily maintenance and operations activities in the assigned areas.

Job Description:

  • Operate, troubleshoot and coordinate the repair and maintenance of site electrical infrastructure and equipment
  • Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure safe and proper operation
  • Maintain systems documentation including code compliance records, maintenance & repair history, and safety audit records
  • Communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, subcontractors, customers, and site management
  • Perform other general plant and building maintenance duties as required
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in facilities electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Current Journeyman electrical license – state of Texas
  • Knowledge of city, state, and federal codes concerning facilities and electrical work, including local building codes
  • National Electric Code, and OSHA regulations
  • Read and understand floor plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction/shop drawings
  • Proven problem solving skills relating to troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues in a manufacturing environment
  • Safely navigate a variety of work areas, including ladders, roofs, elevated platforms and confined spaces
  • Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and quality
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
  • Current TS security clearance
  • Plan, forecast, and manage budgets and schedules for small to medium jobs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with maintenance management database systems
