The role requires an individual to install electrical/ avionic kits and/or build/make off harnesses/cable assemblies in line with Planning & Design Engineering data.
In this position you may be required to work on Aircraft and Electrical Sub-assembly
Requires competence in the assembly of electrical and electronic parts, materials, hardware, wiring harnesses, components and sub-assemblies into completed assemblies for the manufacture and modification of electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical equipment, equipment racks, instrument consoles etc.
Requires competence in the mounting, installation, bonding and testing of various electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in the modification of any type of aircraft.
Requires the competence to install minor pre-fabricated parts and assemblies to assist in the final installation of electrical and avionic components.
Requires the competence to perform electrical/electro-mechanical system operational checks, trouble shoot and correct malfunctions and may, if certified and under supervision, be requested to perform engine runs and ensure that the aircraft is flightworthy.
Has the ability to work, mainly un-supervised, from technical drawings, aircraft manufacturer?s manuals, written or verbal instructions and retrieves production data directly from computer systems.
Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of organisational procedures and specifications in accordance with job requirements.
Follows Health & Safety practices and contributes to the safe working environment of the Aircraft Modification Centre.
Candidate Requirements: Essential Experience working in the aerospace industry in an aircraft maintenance and mission integration environment
Experience of working on 'live' aircraft.
Previous knowledge and experience working on the King Air B350 and GEX aircraft platforms
Previous experience as an Approved Operator.
Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
