Description:Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) engineer position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing algorithm development, flight software verification and hardware integration tests in the simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab, HWIL integration and maintenance, developing and testing 6-DoF simulation models and simulation builds. Must have C/C++, FORTRAN, MATLAB programming experience, Modeling, Integration and Test. Embedded Software experience a plus.
Graduate with a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in GNC or controls is desired.
The Locale: Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. -Bachelors or Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college
-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
-Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Experience/classwork with embedded real-time software system designs.
-Software configuration management tool knowledge.
-Experience/classwork in guidance, navigation and control engineering skillsets
-Fortran, C++, Kalman Filter, Hardware-in-the-loop(HWIL), 6DOF simulations, weapon system performance and trajectory analysis,
-Strong technical writing skills
