Applicant will provide one-on-one technical support for Mission Support Center (MSC) resolution of the most complex technical problems with command and control systems without escalation. Will input, monitor and track trouble tickets through resolution.
Applicant will have the ability to work autonomously using independent judgment based on training and experience to resolve technical issues that have not been previously observed. Applicant will be expected to access and utilize multiple resources to resolve difficult issues.
Applicant will perform system maintenance including IA, patches, upgrades, and other routine maintenance of the Mission Support Center (MSC) NIPRnet and SIPRnet systems. System status will be reported in VRAM.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize requirements.
Applicant will be familiar with DoD 8570.01-M & DODD 8570.01 and will ensure that compliance with those requirements are met.
Applicant will indoctrinate new personnel on MSC policies and ensure that applicable MSC SOPs are being followed.
Applicant will coordinate with Program Manager to set shifts for all team personnel.
Applicant will be primary point of contact for government MSC manager for issue management.
The Mission Support Center is a 24x7 operation and the position may require some shift work.
CONUS or OCONUS Deployments may be required.
Physical fitness test is required in support of deployability.
1. Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
