We are presently identifying candidates for a Solutions Architect to support the VP of Business Development and Capture Lead. The Solutions Architect will provide high quality subject matter expertise in the development of customer and market penetration strategies through the analysis, design, and assessment of technical solution approaches to meet anticipated target client requirements and objectives. Working with client-facing account and technical leadership, you will be responsible for designing innovative, client-focused technical solutions. You will be required to stay abreast of new standards and technologies, making recommendations for the adoption and development of technical capabilities for potential infusion into current client engagements and offerings. You will lead the delivery of our written technical proposals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or technical related field.
  • Five plus (5+) years of experience as a solution architect and technical proposal leader on multiple opportunities ranging from $10M - $250M.
  • Must be able to independently draft technical proposal solutions and work directly with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to author and rewrite technical proposal content.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Possess Federal Government contracting experience.
  • Excellent writing skills, including understanding of grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, and active/passive voice.
  • Ability to surge work schedule to meet proposal schedule demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to track and share work progress and action items using a variety of tools, including Microsoft Excel, Project, or Access; excellent Microsoft Word skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with a variety of personnel and organizations.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Signals Intelligence Military Occupational Specialty.
  • Communications Military Occupational Specialty.
  • Cyber Network Defense / Security Military Occupational Specialty.
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical solution concepts through development of white papers, requests for information, and technical proposals.
  • Demonstrated excellent abilities to analyze client "as-is" and "to-be" business requirements, technical solutions and constraints, and translate them into comprehensive, full technical stack solution approaches that satisfy both client solution performance and corporate business performance objectives.
  • Experience providing technical leadership on full technology stack system solution development and delivery projects using the agile methodology for multiple federal government agencies.
  • Experience developing information technology technical solutions and architectures in accordance with open standards and federal enterprise architectures.
  • Lead technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal life cycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission.
  • Contribute to CSRA win strategies and lead the development of technical win themes and solution readiness plans.
  • Experience continuously updating and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and their supported, successful technology stack integrations.
  • Develop unsolicited technical recommendations, collateral and RFI responses to engage prospective customers and position ATSG to win.
