Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in Program planning and scheduling management? We are is seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in joining the Program Planning & Scheduling Department in a highly visible and impactful position as Senior Program Planner II for the IRAD DREX program. The ideal candidate will manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which includes: Giver/Receiver (G/R) interfaces, to programs, and/or other IRADs (Independent Research and Development (IRAD), and work from multiple funding sources. The candidate will partner with the DREX Principal Investigators (PI), finance, program stakeholders and planners to ensure the IMS is accurately modelled, maintained, and tracked to completion.

Responsibilities will include supporting development, maintenance, and analysis of the program Master Phasing Schedule, and Integrated Master Schedule; and supporting the planning, scheduling, and cost estimating tasks. This position will be responsible for providing support to Earned Value Management (EVM) compliance, IMS related deliveries, Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) and more.

This position is currently located in Tewksbury, MA but has flexibility for other NE locations.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of Six (6) years of Program Planning & Scheduling experience
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project experience, including Microsoft Project Server
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
  • Familiarity with financial systems (APEX, MPM, other cost engines)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite products

Desired Skills:
  • Eight (8) plus years of professional experience in Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Experience with any of the following: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX) SAP/R3, Microframe Project Manager (MPM) or similar EVMS tools and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra and Deltek MPM Connect
  • Raytheon Six Sigma (R6S) Specialist or similar certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
  • Demonstrated experience with Cost Estimating/BOE Generation
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Required Education:

Bachelor Degree from an accredited university or college
