IIS Field Engineering iscurrentlyseekinga Manufacturing Engineer II to provide the logistics liaison and technical support between Engineering and fieldactivities across multiple site locations. This position is located in Marlborough, MA. The ideal candidate willbeaself-starterandhavethe abilitytorepresentIIS and Field Engineering astheinitialinterfacewithexternal and internal customerswhile ensuringschedules and tasks aremet.Candidatewillhavetohavetheabilitytoworkwithlittle or nodirectsupervisionandisthepointofcontacttoIISprogrammanagement.

RequiredSkills:

  • Experience reviewing site checklists w/ stakeholders to verify site configured options are being properly relayed to site design team.
  • Experience reviewing Site designs, cable sets and interconnect drawings prior to release, including site specific files.
  • Experience reviewing site files and spares files used to create ED’s
  • Experience reviewing release ED’s prior to submission, verifying that they match the site checklist requirements.
  • Experience generating CN’s and Procure & Release ED’s based on CN’s to checklists, Letters or PMO direction.
  • Knowledge and experience using PLTool to generate an “all-Inclusive” ED based on any site updates made.
  • Experience attending pre-CCB & CCB meetings.
  • Experience maintaining Spares files based on contract requirements, including providing input on new parts which should be added to the files.
  • Experience working with Engineering Authorities to update site files based on sold off design, to include creating ‘redlines’ to interconnects and creating upgrade PL’s for sites.
  • Mustpossess excellenttechnicalwriting andoralcommunicationskills.

DesiredSkills:
  • Prior experience in logistic support to FAA and/or military ATC systems.
  • Familiar with FAA/DoD regulations.
  • Experience in deployment of STARS systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret and implement equipment installation design information including: drawings, equipment manuals, written plans and applicable codes and regulations.



EducationRequirement

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience, OR an Associate Degree with 6 years of related experience OR High School and 8 years of related experience. Military/Civilian logistic training, education and experience may substitute for the degree.
