Description:MFC is seeking a Financial Analyst for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. Responsibilities include:

Setting up cost control systems, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring an EVMS validated cost/schedule control system.

Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.

Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as cost profiles, sales and profit outlook, and variance analysis.

Performs risk assessments to identify and help mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.

Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Reviews/Validates quarterly Estimate to Complete / Estimate at Completion (ETC/EAC) updates.

Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a Masters degree.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desired Skills:
Experience with SAP and EFS

Financial background with financial analysis and
budget management experience.

Experience developing government cost reports.

Experience with DFARS compliant EVMS guidelines.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
