Basic Qualifications
The successful Tactical Cross Domain Solutions (TACDS) Account Representative will possess a BS degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline and 8 years of related experience along with the following:
Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and government sales experience
2-5 plus years of successful experience in sales of CDS products
Information Assurance industry experience a plus
Confident presenter - strong communication skills – written and verbal
Demonstrated skills and success in gaining access to customer design engineers and key decision makers in a complex, CDS sales environment
Demonstrated skills and references as both a team builder and customer advocate inside the organization
Secret/TS clearance required
2-3 years of direct customer interaction experience in support selling CDS solutions to Department of Defense customers
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Familiarity with technical networking concepts
Familiarity with network security principles
Demonstrable skill of being highly organized and a self-starter
Advanced working knowledge of windows applications ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Clear and concise communication skills
Prior military experience or familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) culture
Candidates must have an active Secret security clearance at time of hire. Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking a talented Account Manager to join our team to focus on maintaining and growing GDMS' Department of Defense customer base. In this role you will be responsible for supporting CDS account management efforts within the Department of Defense. As the Account Manager, your responsibilities will include the following tasks, but are not limited to:
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for developing; building and maintaining relationships with existing and newly established customers in The Department of Defense and delivering complete GDMS based Cross Domain Solutions to meet their security requirements. Must have the ability to communicate at all levels; verbally and written; as well as be able to conduct meetings and presentations.
At this level; Customer Account Representative is part of a team responsible for Information Assurance and Mission Systems Product Sales that are tasked to produce annual product sales of $25+ million.
Customer Representative Responsibilities
Represents GD in a Cross Domain Solutions sales account role as a point of contact for US Department of Defense customers located in CONUS and OCONUS sites.
Develops a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders.
Manage day-to-day inquiries to build a sales funnel for developing new business and closing sales orders to meet objectives.
Build a strong presence for CDS product solutions at targeted accounts and key markets.
Identify and overcome obstacles on top opportunities.
Understands and manages customer solutions from original concept through each phase of the product sales cycle.
Participate in industry events/ trade shows as a company representative
Applies functional knowledge in formulating product and service offerings including technical solution, product discriminators, pricing and technical support
Provides “from the street” product feedback and recommendation to GD product Stakeholders which can include enhancements products, feature sets, procedures; presentations; and training materials.
Prepares customer quotes and tracks order through CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 2016)
Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of customer account performance and growth.
Grassroots Development, to include identifying major programs and growing GDMS customer intimacy
Scheduling site visits and teleconferences to present demonstrations and maintain accounts
Follow guidance of strategic plans to influence architectures
Ability and desire to travel 40% to present at customer sites
