Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to join our distinguished Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) located in Richardson, TX. The SEIT team is the central focus for concept development, trade studies, systems architecture development, and systems integration and test activities for customized engineering services and products developed in the Richardson engineering facility. We develop solutions to solve customer needs as well as plan future capabilities and technology roadmaps.

As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work on a program providing software and hardware integration support to the integration and verification team with a focus on automated software integration and test. The SEIT organization is a team of talented and experienced engineers that perform many core activities to include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component level.
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, Math). A GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired. Please include your GPA and transcript with your resume. You must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Graduate status as of Summer 2019.
This position can be for a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Internship based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
ST02 (TechStudent-Sophomore) Sophomore status – must have completed 30 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Sophomore status as of Summer 2019.
ST03 (TechStudent-Junior) Junior status – must have completed 60 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Junior status as of Summer 2019.
ST04 (TechStudent-Senior) Senior status – must have completed 90 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Senior status as of Summer 2019.
NUG (TechStudent-PostGraduate) Post Graduate status - must be currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree and obtained Post Graduate status as of Summer 2019.
This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirement. However, if this role moves into a full time role upon graduation U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of conversion date.
