Job Summary
Supports operations by expanding the knowledge and skills of the ConAgra Performance System (CPS) and the CPS Pillar structure.
Accountable for deployment of all pillars and processes to eliminate losses which result in step change improvement in plant performance.
Coordinates CPS with Platform, Plant and CPS Leadership to drive sustainable processes and results. Works with key leaders on pillar strategy, standard methods, auditing/assessment, pillar loss identification/analytics, and deployment of the right tools to attack losses. Helps with pillar education, training and creation of a continuous learning environment for assigned area. Helps plants identify potential process implementation issues and develop plans to overcome. Works with resources in the use of best practices across the enterprise.
Position requires up to 85% travel.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with Enterprise pillar lead to build skills in plant pillar teams.
Works as a CPS Practitioner with plant manager and plant CPS Leads to build skills in plant pillar teams and facilitate improvement efforts.
Works with plant Leadership team to develop High Performance production teams.
Responsible for helping the plant Leadership team achieve business metrics through implementation of CPS.
Provides leadership & coaching for Pillar specialists necessary to help drive results through a variety of other improvement methods.
Ensures the development of internal resource capability within plants
Acts as a key change agent for CI results achievement and glide path results
Leads pillar teams with strong collaboration and alignment to all pillars, in coordination with platform operations.
Ensures resourcing and urgency in approach; while achieving effective results.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Plant-based operations experience of at least 10 years desired
Experience in TPM based continuous improvement of at least 10 years desired
Demonstrated experience in leading change & situational leadership
Clear ability to relate to and motivate people
Excellent presentation, coaching & communication skills
Good project management skills
Experience working as a Corporate TPM Pillar Lead coaching and developing plant personnel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
