Under general supervision and occasional direct supervision, the Specialist, Scheduling/Planning
performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls. He/She displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
This position is located on-site at a large Chemical plant in Circleville, OH. No Per Diem will be offered.
Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling
Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply
Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion
Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis
years scheduling/planning experience on engineering/construction projects
Working knowledge of Primavera preferred
Must have intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function within a project team
Will comply with all KBR and site safety policies and procedures
Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes
Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots
Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs frequently, etc
Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs
May require walking the plant property
