Raytheon IIS is seeking someone to facilitate and integrate the program planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on the NISSC Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, in Colorado Springs Colo. The successful candidate must understand Engineering Software/Hardware development processes to develop logical program plans while working with program management, business management, contracts personnel, senior engineering/technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations and senior customer representatives. This role directly contributes to the continued improvement and implementation of new project planning and scheduling concepts, techniques, policies and procedures to meet Program Manager, Raytheon, and customer requirements; establishes and maintains schedule baselines; facilitates the development/updates of the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and program team structure. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining the program Master Phasing Schedule, perform related variance analysis and possesses a complete understanding of related scheduling policies; must understand schedule critical path and performs related analysis, as well as analyze schedule probability of success (Schedule Risk Analysis), and be able to explain and defend schedules to the customer; and work with engineers on key items in the schedule to develop alternatives in order to improve the critical path and probabilities of success. The candidate will provide data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews and prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding schedule variances and conducts or participates in various types of independent assessments.
The candidate will work with the customer and internal program offices to identify business reporting expectations and develop/maintain an Earned Value approach to meet objectives, and then successfully deliver all contractual artifacts to the customer. Must understand the integration of numerous complex systems; recognize program risks (including technical risks), and recommend mitigation strategies. This role will also involve the management of more junior planners.
