Job Description:

There is an exciting opportunity at the Raytheon Global Business Services Group, Human Resources for a Principal Employee Benefits Administrator of the Global Absence Management team. This person will support the short term and long term disability program, the accommodations program and assist in administering the medical leave of absence and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) programs. The successful candidate will also act as a resource to business partners and employees regarding the requirements for all leave programs and policies.

This position requires a highly disciplined employee who can effectively work across multiple functional areas while also having a working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended (ADAAA), the FMLA and possess a strong working knowledge of short term and long term disability claim requirements. This position requires an experienced professional who can provide technical expertise to HR generalists and employees relative to disability, leave and absence issues while also coordinating with Raytheon's disability insurance carrier, workers' compensation insurance carrier and health center administrator.

The successful candidate will be a service oriented professional with strong written and oral skills. A vocational rehabilitation or nursing background will be very helpful in this role. He / She will also possess strong analytical skills to drive process improvement and successful return to work outcomes.

This position requires an excellent communicator who is comfortable in a dynamic multitasking environment, working with vendor teams, collaborating with managers and supervisors through interactive discussions to assist in the accommodations process. The successful candidate will also help to coordinate return to work efforts with the employee, manager, insurance carriers and medical providers. This role also involves significant cross-functional dialogue with safety professionals, medical staff, HR generalists and in-house legal counsel.

The successful candidate must also be a team player and will be expected to participate in various projects on an ongoing basis.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
