The Security Administrator will primarily be responsible for Document Control/Classified Material Control for ManTech's Stafford campus. Works directly for the Facility Security Officer. Assists with physical security, personnel security (including access control/visitor control), opening and closing of secure spaces, and other day to day security related functions.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of security actions involved in supporting multiple Government Programs
• Perform as Document Control lead, duties to include accurately entering all documents and media into the Security Information Management System (SIMS) Security database
• Ensure all material is marked in accordance with Executive Order 13526
• Ensure full accountability requirements by logging, assigning ownership, tracking, filing of inventories and daily loaned transactions, transferring gear and certifying destruction of all documents & media in SIMS database
• Prepare for and conduct classified document inventories
• Prepare courier authorizations, conduct/record courier briefings
• Ensure the physical security integrity for the Classified Material Control Center (CMCC) and secure work areas
• Prepare for and lead CMCC during Security Inspections
• Package material properly for transmission
• Maintain accountability of all classified media entering and leaving the facility
• Ability to work independently and making decisions within security guidelines with regard to the control of classified material
• Ability to Open/Close Secure areas on a rotating basis while providing daily back up coverage to the access control specialists
• Confident, professional demeanor and appearance
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed
• Flexibility to do whatever task is required and willingness to learn new functions

• 2-4 years’ experience in document/media control
• Experience in an industrial security setting
• Solid working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
