Perform inspections, checks, tests, measurements and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components. Determines product quality and acceptability of inspected items by verifying type, count and condition, carefully checking inspection results against the requirements of the specifications, engineering drawings and other required quality specifications and/or standards. Clearly document observations and findings using written communication skills and general computer operator skills.
Inspects outbound shipments ensuring they meets program requirements related customer instructions. Ensures all shipping documentation are accurate and meets EX/IM requirements. Validate/inspect packaging including all Special Packaging Instruction (SPI) requirements to the SPI drawing. Collect and maintain outbound inspection log to generate metrics to perform trend analysis.
High school degree, secondary school or equivalent with 6 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education inaddition to prior work experience.
