    We are looking for 2 Industrial Engineers to join our Engineering Team!

    The Industrial Engineer will work directly with Leadership, Engineering Operations and Production Planning to focus on improving current process efficiency, material flow, labor productivity, quality, safety and space utilization in order to support current and future needs with cost efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Record of accomplishment of producing innovative solutions to challenges.
    • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and criminal record check.
    • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
    • Ability and willingness to travel in support of company business.
    • Work under pressure, tight timelines, and attention to detail.
    • Must be hands on and results oriented
    • Assist in planning and designing plant and equipment layout
    • Evaluate machinery and facilities and provide recommendations developing associated business plans to support
    • Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
    • Analyze production utilization of resources (infrastructure/equipment/people), report on status and needs and recommended course of action
    • Design, develop and conduct time studies in order to simplify work
    • Evaluate and optimize human resources and skill requirements and assist in developing training programs
    • Examine reliability and performance metrics for opportunities
    • Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
    • Provide support to technicians, technologists, administrative and manufacturing staff
    • Employ best practices and methodology; 6 Sigma tools, VAVE, TQM, and other strategies to achieve goals and continuously improve systems and processes
    • Active participation in Budget preparation (expense and capital), and meet or exceed the financial expectations
    • Track and report out on KPI’s including analysis and corrective/improvement activities
    • Active participation in Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) elements

    Technical Requirements we are looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
    • 3+ years of experience with demonstrated success in driving large scale manufacturing improvement projects with evidence of increased productivity and cost savings.
    • Experience in planning for and executing projects to improve material handling, inventory storage and retrieval, machine setup and utilization, product/service quality, safety, and information management.
    • Demonstrated competency in advanced project planning and management.
    • Strong computer skills; Office based software along with CAD/ERP/MRP type applications
    • Strengths in problem solving, conflict resolution, quality management,
    • Must have solid stakeholder management including strong customer orientation
    • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Kaizen
    • Aptitude and experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, budgeting along with project and business plan development and management.
    • Skills: Able to evaluate alternatives, establish priorities, and formulate decisions that affect all aspects of the operation. Able to establish clear support for long term best practice behaviors while recognizing the short term need to bring others with you on the vision of a highly reliable operation.
