We are seeking a Senior Engineering Section Manager/IPTL for our Hardware Engineering Center of Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division, responsible for the development of Receiver/Exciter products. The primary role will be functional management, technical direction and program leadership on critical programs for design and development of Receiver/Exciter and other GNS sub-systems. Individual must be proficient in the design and development of state-of-the-art Receiver/Exciter products with hands on design experience. Also required is extensive technical expertise from concept through production of Digital Hardware with emphasis on FPGA code development. Successful candidate should be very capable of developing requirements for subsystem, unit and module products and perform allocations/architecture trades. Technical experience should include architectural, conceptual and hands-on design of Digital Receiver and GPS products and FPGA code development.
Experience should include functional & team management, including team leadership, staffing, staff management, performance & career development, team development, Cost estimate proposals, etc. Additional roles include interface with customer and program office, IPTL & earned value management.
